The Early Childhood Education Caucus is proud to see an increased investment in child care and early learning programs in the 2024-2025 #PABudget.
While these increases are positive, there is still much to be done for the working families of Pennsylvania. Our commonwealth continues to face an outstanding need for child care teacher recruitment and retention initiatives in order to address the ongoing shortage we see nationwide.
Heading into the next fiscal year, we are committed to continuing our work to ensure that providers are adequately staffed, so that Pennsylvanians have access to safe, reliable child care.
